So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal (2 Corinthians 4:18).
Whatever is visible to our physical eyes, whether good or bad is temporary. But what is permanent and cannot change is the Word of God, but it (the Word) has the power to change all things! Hallelujah!
As Christians, our healing, deliverance, prosperity, breakthrough etc are all rooted in the Word of God;-[the Word is our evidence or title deed to all of God’s promises/provision] – so they are settled and permanent! (1 John 5:4). You may have not yet seen it but it exists because God says so, we just have to believe it, see it with eyes of faith and receive it! by faith until it appears. There may be storms and floods of life but because our foundation and builder is God and His Word, we will stand and not be moved (Psalm 125:1; Matthew 7:24-25).
Recently, we were thinking of getting cars for our daughter.. They both school outside the town where we live. One has an internship and the location is about 25 minutes to 30 minutes drive and no public transportation; the other one is studying Architecture and stays late at the studio that most times we have to be on the phone with her talking or praying in tongues until she gets to her dormitory. But we didn’t have the financial ability for 2 cars. We had another car which our son uses.
The LORD gave me this Word and I held on to it. Anytime they ask how or when are we getting the cars, I would answer with this scripture😀.
We told them, we might just only be able to buy for the internship person for now. The other one’s new dorm is about 3 minutes walk from the studio, so she can still manage. And the resumption date gets closer, we had to go get the car or cars. We went to the dealership with the assurance of faith and to the glory of God we got a brand new 2024 Toyota Corolla-the exact time be she had wanted! The dealership was doing some sales that day so we got a good chunk off the sales price!
Few days later, our son got quickened and said he wanted another car and of course he could afford it. My husband went with him, we supported him with some money and he got his own car too. So now he had to leave our car he was using and of course we unreservedly gave it to our second daughter and we also bought it new too in 2023. It is a 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander! The Word worked and it always works.
God spoke, we believed and we received! He alone knows how to prosper His words, He only needs for us to agree with Him and He will do that which He promises!
We are born of God and no matter the circumstances of life, we are assured of victory, if we believe. God’s Word is full of power but our faith is the force that unlocks the power in the Word to make it available to us and give us the victory that we desire. A man or woman of faith believes God for what He says and patiently waits for the manifestation of the Word because he or she is thoroughly convinced that God is faithful and will not fail. The food or seed for our conviction is the Word of God. Feed on the Word!
Affirmation of Faith
I am a faith being, born by a faith God; I walk by faith and not by sight. I have the assurance of victory because God’s Word say so. His Word is yeah and Amen! Hallelujah!
